Dr Samara Linton
Dr Samara Linton (she/her) is an award-winning writer and former medical doctor, specialising in mental health, race, and culture. She co-edited The Colour of Madness: Mental Health and Race in Technicolour (Bluebird, 2022) and co-authored Diane Abbott: The Authorised Biography (Biteback, 2020), which was named one of the best politics books of the year by The Guardian and Waterstones. Her work has appeared in the BBC, gal-dem, Women’s Health, Huffington Post UK, New Economics, The Metro, the Royal College of Psychiatrists, and the British Medical Journal. She is an alumna of the University of Cambridge and University College London and also holds a master’s degree in Health Humanities.
