Dominique Palmer interviewed in ELLE Japan on Earth Day 2025
April 17, 2025
Ahead of Earth Day on April 22, Dominique Palmer was interviewed by ELLE Japan. Shiori Clark writes: “What is needed in the world today is a cross-sectional perspective that not only addresses the climate crisis, but also looks at social issues such as racial, gender, and economic disparities. Looking at the future while incorporating diversity into our thinking will provide an important clue for exploring new forms of leadership.
A symbol of this is Dominic Palmer, a Gen Z activist born in 1999. He has been invited as a guest to Billie Eilish's climate change events and Stella McCartney's shows, and is a figure who works with culture to spread his message. Environmental protection movements have been popular in the UK for a long time, but many of these movements have been biased towards white, middle-class participants, and a lack of inclusivity has been considered an issue. Her work challenges this status quo and seeks to create a form of movement that everyone can get involved in.”
Dominique’s debut children’s book is forthcoming.
